Here are some of my handmade hats and beanies from the Lion Brand Landscape Yarn. This yarn works very well on my loom and creates really nice stripes.
If you look at the swatches on the main hat page and compare to the hats and beanies you might see some color differences. The yarn can contain different lengths of the different colors of yarn but all skeins usually have the same colors. So the hats pictured will show the colors the yarn comes in but the striping can very in size and pattern.
All hats are double layered for extra warmth and have a button that says “Made with Love” sewn inside where the layers are connected. Pom-Poms can be added to any hat for $3 otherwise the button sewn inside the hat can have any pom-pom with an elastic loop attached if you have your own.
These hats are made with a very thick heavy yarn that is very warm and soft. These hats will stretch to fit most adult heads but are also tight enough for most children. If you do want a smaller hat for a child let me know and I will make it slightly shorter so that it will fit smaller heads better. I can make both hats that will have a fold over and also beanies.
This is the most expensive yarn that I currently use and Hats are $30 and Beanies are $25 (plus tax and shipping unless available for local pickup). Also due to the pandemic and availability of certain colors if you order a hat I don’t have made already there might be a small wait time while I get the yarn in before the hat can be made.
I will update the gallery as I complete more hats. Hat pictures are taken both with and without the flash on to see the difference in the colors when they are in the light and not. I am working on many more beanies and a volcano hat. Those pictures are coming soon.

POM-POMS
A Pom-Pom can be added to any hat or beanie for $3 each. I have many colors to choose from and can send pictures of your hat next to different pom-poms so that you can pick which one you like best. All pom-poms attach by an elastic loop that is drawn through the top of the hat and secured to a button inside. I advise that you remove the pom-pom before washing your hat because it will become matted and not be fluffy anymore. You can also purchase multiple pom-poms to interchange them on your hat.
